Patrick Baird is a longtime local of the Tahoe Basin, and he has over 15 years of experience in the water industry. He graduated from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business and a concentration in finance. His certifications in the state of California include the following: 

-Grade 3 Wastewater Collection Operator

-Grade 3 Water Treatment

-Grade 3 Water Distribution Operator

-Grade 3 Wastewater Treatment Operator

-Backflow Tester

-Cross Connection Control Specialist

Throughout his career, he has worked with Fortune 500 companies, and public water districts such as the City of Aspen, Tahoe Truckee Sanitation District, and Sierra Lakes County Water District. He has experience in operations, engineering, water compliance and regulation, project management, utility rate analysis, budgeting, and customer services.
